What is the training like?
- For initial training, there is a (3) day training that includes role playing, intervention strategies (pro-active, active, and reactive), Physical intervention techniques. For staff to be certified they must perform all intervention techniques competently and safely, they must pass the written test with an 80%, and maintain CPR certification.

- Following initial training, annual refreshers (4-6 hours) should be completed on or prior to original certification date.
